Sharon Boak

Sharon is currently away in London studying for her masters degree. This doesn’t stop her returning for the occasional gig though and when here she likes to sing a wide variety of numbers. Her favourites include How High the Moon (Sammy Nestico!!), The Way you Look Tonight and American Patrol/Little Brown Jug. She isn’t, however, a massive fan of the disco party classics.

Having started way back in Just in Time II at Dave’s insistence, Sharon has loved singing along to ‘oldies’ for as long as she can remember – her early introduction to The Carpenters and Burt Bacharach were instrumental in developing her vocal range. She loves Ella Fitzgerald, Blossom Dearie, Eva Cassidy, Madeleine Peyroux and Lisa Ekdahl (I’m sure there are others!).

Sharon’s favourite vegetable is mange-tout and her favourite colour teal.
